Who i Am
Since coming through my first TPI ( Titleist Performance Institute) certification in 2012 I have specialised in working with local golfers, helping them to perform at their best, whilst remaining pain-free.
This path has taken me through certifications for TPI, SFMA, FMS, ART and I spent a year treating at the prestigious Wentworth Club.
Most Golfers see a significant increase in distance regardless of how long they have been playing or their current handicap.
Away from 'work', I like to play golf, just recently got into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and spend as much time with my family as possible.
What I Do
I get golfers out of pain, to move better, increase their flexibility and with all the above comes more distance.
This is all achieved with treatment and exercise.
Since 2012 I have been fascinated with how the human body performs in relation to the golf swing.
This has led me through multiple certifications and study like The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) which personally helped me by fixing my own issues with pain playing golf and reducing my handicap by 5 shots. It also led me to spend a year at Wentworth club treating the pain and dysfunction of the clubs members and their guests.
Out of this collective Golf specific information is Golf Performance Therapy.
I use what I need from the screening systems of TPI, FMS, SFMA
To build you the most specific plan for your body to move you closer to your golfing goals.
Goals like hitting every club in your bag further
The easiest way to separate what you need to move forward is whether there is any pain or not.
Pain alters motor control so we must remove pain from any exercise first.
If you have pain playing golf you are compensating and this is holding back your progression.
We increase performance by fixing physical limitations that have plagued some golfers for years with specific treatment strategies.
The way that the players on tour are assessed, exercise and are treated is now available to the local golf club member.
Find your physical limitations and fix them.
You will be amazed at what improvements can be made in just a few sessions.
Tired of having the same issues affect your golf game again and again?
Frustrated at how many holes you get to play before your body starts to hinder rather than help you?
Any help you give your body will carry over to your golf swing.
Added distance is usually the first thing any golfer will see.
Golf Performance Therapy is used to take the average golfer's body and add the screening systems, treatment plans and exercise sessions used by the world's best golfers to get the club golfers body to perform at its absolute best, regardless of handicap or "age".
Your biggest limitation to taking your golf to the next level is your body. If you have been playing golf for a while the quickest way to increase distance with every club, without purchasing a new set, is to improve how your body performs in the golf swing.
When I left Wentworth I set up the GolfMob and with the help of Head Golf pro James Skelton set up Unbreakable Golfers.
I have one goal-
For the golfer to get as much value out of the session as possible.
Each session should be more than just treatment for pain or to increase performance.
You should leave the session knowing a little more about your body and how you can fix your issues yourself.
You should have a plan in place that you can implement immediately to advance the good work we have done in the session.
Golfers such as Shane Lowry and Padraig Harrington are treated on tour by Active Release Techniques instructor Shane Lawlor
I deliver treatment and exercise strategies to the Issues common in Club golfers.
I learnt a lot about using the TEAM element of TPI (treatment / exercise and golf instruction) during my year working at Wentworth club.
The venue is perfect for the golfer in that you could be treated for your dysfunctions and pain, have personal training and then have all your stats checked and your swing improved on the lesson tee.
All within the same Venue
My aim is to bring this element to golfers in Spain.
To have a specific in person treatment and exercise plan to fix their limitations.
All of that information can then be passed to your golf pro so that you get the most out of your next lesson.
My goal is to remove your limitations and hand you back to your golf pro so the new range of motion you have and increased flexibility can be used to advance your golfing skills
If you have any pain or physical limitations get these sorted and then get to the course.
Let me show you a new way to enhance your golf.
