How and why?

I used to play a lot of golf, Saturdays, Sundays, after work during the week,

I bought all the gear, invested in lessons, read every recommended book and article, listened to every podcast but I was just stuck.

I couldn't get any better, it didn't matter which ball or clubs I used, I just couldn't get any increase in distance. My scores didn't come down and my back was always in pain and could sometimes stop me playing golf for weeks.

Then I would be told to rest and have a break from golf from the treatment guys I was seeing. Not easy when you are a member of a golf club, feel the game is "Your Thing" and play for the club you are a member of.

So it meant a doubling up of co-codamol and get on with it. I was falling to bits and this was in my early thirties and I had a big fear of what life would be like when I got older.

In early 2011 when my construction company was struggling I had this crazy idea. A career change that could get me to help golfers as well as help my own game.

That’s when I found the Titleist Performance Institute

I spent thousands going through certification programs, travelling all over the UK to work with guys that worked with the pros, just to get that extra bit of knowledge or insider secrets.

This ran from 2011 to 2014 when it really all came together.

In 2014 TPI put on their first ever level 2 medical seminar in the UK at the Belfry. All the stuff that I had been working on myself and with the guys that had come to see me just fell magically into place.

In the space of 5 months with no golf instruction I cut 5 strokes off my game ..

(I wouldn't advise this and recommend that if you get a massive increase in range of motion you want a golf instructor to get the best results out of it)

I also increased my distance and was taking one less club on every shot (I'd actually never over hit so many greens in my life)

The year that I spent at Wentworth Club treating golfers in pain, gave me an idea to do more and shortly after that I started to build The GolfMob, A fitness system where golfers lost weight and gained distance from the same 4 week program.

In 2017, I built the foundations of Unbreakable Golfers,

Which took all the results I had with golf specific treatment, exercise and added in the powerful stuff I'd learnt about how to change your damaging behaviours that hold you back and how to break bad self limiting habits.
