So I got in a bit earlier yesterday
and just beat the kids in from school,
So what I did was do my boys reading
book as soon as he was in
My daughter sat with us while my son
read his book cover to cover.
No "how many more pages" from him and no
"look at me daddy" from her.
We normally do this before bed time
It was the easiest reading we'd done
together
I didn't get frustrated with either of
them,
The thing is
Sh*t is so much easier when everyone is
NOT exhausted.
Sometimes We just need to rest
We get so focused on fitting so much in
that we forget that others might by just
knackered too
And all sh*t goes sideways if your tired
Your fuse is lit easier and its a short
as a lego mans arm.
But everyone else is like that too.
Thats why putting the impornt stuff off
like a tax return
The stuff you KNOW you need to get done
Putting that stuff off till last thing
or worst last thing at night
is when it will drive you to want to put
your fist through the fxcking screen
Try to do the important but not urgent
stuff before your exhausted
Or before it urgent
YOU will get more done and will feel
better after
With any type of training, nutrition, or
corrective stuff
If you were to do it in the morning
(when you don't feel like it)
Not only will it be out of the way it
will also make you feel better
