This comes from copywriter Gary Herbert who
said he used the H.A.L.T set up regarding
important decisions.

He said to never make an important decision
if he was either

Hungry,

Angry,

Lonely or

Tired,

How much better would you be if before you
ripped someone’s head off you went and
grabbed a sandwich


And how many times have you had a good
nights kip and then not been to bothered

about the stuff that was driving you crazy
the day before

I’ll let you in to a little secret you
should try yourself

If I’m taking a bit of heat in doors I’ll
just say

“Do you want something to eat”

Don’t let them in on this powerplay as then
it loses its power

So how can you use H.A.L.T for golf
performance,

Your body is built on what you put in it

The fuel you put in it has a huge effect on
it’s ability to keep it functioning
physically,

If you’re angry your muscles tighten up and
constantly tight muscles become constantly
tight

Read that again

And if you’re tired your whole system can’t
function properly

Your body is the one thing that is part of
every single shot you take

Every drive

Chip and

Putt.

If you get just a little bit better

It can effect your whole game

And we only play this game to get better
