Quit, But Dont Quit.

You've heard it right?, you've been told it, you've probably even said (I know I have)

"Dont ever quit"

But what if what you're doing is not working, or it has served its purpose and it's time to move on to something new.

Dont get me wrong most people quit way too easy and are too impatient...

They get distracted by the next new thing that comes along and want that dopamine fix that they get from starting something new.

And they have absolutely no idea how much hard work and consistency is needed to get the desired results.

But...

Sometimes you have to know that if you've been doing something long enough and not getting results then

You might have to ask the question

Do you suck at it?

Or

Do you just hate doing it?

If you suck at it but you don't have the energy or focus to get better you're still gonna hate doing whats required.

If you just hate it, you wont do it long and probably need to do something different.

Something where you can get a little bit better every day and see some progress however small.

Fella's are happiest when making progress...

Progress comes from REPS.....

If someones better then you at something it could be talent or it could be they have just done more REPS then you.

They got up early when every one else was sleeping, they practiced hard while others were watching tele and are now reaping the rewards of those consistent REPS..

Making progress and enjoying it.

If you stop making progress you're more likely to give up.

Take Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

Last year I walked into Matrix Jiu-jitsu in Javea because I couldn't find a boxing gym to spa at here, and I had never done anything remotely close to BJJ.

I am now addicted,

Not just to learning and studying under an amazing professor but by the depth needed of something that you know (just Like the body) you will never fully understand everything.

So make progress every day however small and if you don’t enjoy it be willing to "Quit But Don't Quit" and start something new.

If you want daily progress that you wont hate, and have it linked directly to improving your golf then go here.
