The Shit Zone
Last night at 9.30 I had a proper sugar
binge.
Wasn't hungry and its times like this when WE
know we're knackered.
Planed to work and catch up on some things
I'm currently behind on
but decided to rest.
Well I say rest but it was the shit zone.
You see fella we are always in 1 of 3 zones.
Creating
Resting
Or the shit zone
The shit zone is when you are neither
Creating (working, studying just getting better)
Or
Resting
So for me that was browsing netflix
One of the benefits of the binge was I
realized how smoked I am and just needed to
switch off for a night.
Remember
Rest is not a reward for hard work but a
prerequisite for exceptional performance
At some point you must rest regardless of
deadlines or commitments.
YOU can't serve anyone to the best of your
ability if YOU can't serve yourself.
In Mindset
Just taking 10 minutes away from the tasks
you have to do to get your head clear will
increase productivity in the long run.
For Training
If you worried about momentum and falling
into he drift do something that will shift
you and give you momentum.
I advise the fall matrix but it could be
anything that works for you.
Rest fella
The shit will still be there for you tomorrow
But your ability to deal with it will be
MUCH better.
