Now Just to let you know

I think I was about 8 at the time and it wasn't on a football pitch.

Recently I was talking to my Millwall supporting dad and he mentioned an interview with Teddy talking about his time at Millwall,

And he reminded me of the event.

We were in the players bar playing football with a crushed can

And Teddy and les Briley (I think) joined in.

I had completely forgotten about it.

But once he mentioned it, I can now vividly remember doing it.

A completely forgotten memory and then, one bit of information, (kicking the can around), and then the memory was back.

Why should you know this and what does it have to do with golf performance?

Well...

The same thing happens in movement, movement patterns, range of motion and even strength.

Stay with me and you will see the link.

Your body forgets certain movements it used to do.

You lose the Neural pathway to the movement, be it through physical restrictions in the body (Tightness in the body)

Or Fear of the movement ( Imagine a time when doing something hurt, so you stop doing that movement)

So to fix this you remove the limitations and re-program the old software and BOOM

The body remembers.

Just like me, Teddy and a crushed can.

So this is what you need to do,

If you release a restriction by treatment, stretching or exercising.

This is the time where you need to reactivate that movement pattern so your body REMEMBERS.

Go here and give your body a chance to remember.
