The Pelvic Rotation Test
This is the ability to Rotate your lower body
independently from your upper body in golf
Posture.
3 outcomes. . . .
1) you can do it and think "whats the big
deal son"
2) You can do it but your upper body moves (
there should be no movement in the upper
body)
3) You can't do it and think Am I doing this
right.
If the answer is number 2 or 3
And you can't do it standing in your golf
posture
You won't do it in your golf swing fella.
Does that matter?
Only if you want to start the downswing with
your lower body
I'll leave that up to you.
But if you can't start your lower body first
this is what can happen.
Common carry over to the golf swing
1) Over the top downswing
2) Casting, Scooping, Chicken winging
3) How about Sway of Slide in you swing
4) Maybe you never get over to your left side
and hang back
OH . . .
And . . . If you can't do this test you are
probably losing distance
