No Dog Shit
Found a new park near us and took the kids
there, it was quality fella.
Plenty of room, not too many dogs, and
obviously not too much dog shit.
Just a note
If a dog every joins the family the shit WILL
be picked up
Not saying enjoyable so, but it will be
picked up.
I would like to randomly stuff the dog shit
down the owners throat and with every tasty
bite I would be shouting In a drill sergeant
voice
"Pick up the shit, pick up the shit"
Anyway
We were able to play frisbee and football
without too much interference.
The kids loved it and came home exhausted.
It's the first time in a long time that we've
been in the park
and haven't had to clock watch or drag them
away cos one wants to go and one wants to
stay
And this place was just a ten minute walk
away
It got me thinking
The things we need are sometimes just around
the corner
How does that apply to other things
look at it this way
I'm focused on constant growth and my targets
are high
sometimes they can seem very far away but
what YOU want could be just around the
corner.
My fitness target in my F5 was well on track,
was getting better everyday and felt awesome,
my injury set me back and my targets changed
but the finish can be just be around the
corner
If I build out a plan that works
We get so caught up in the long term goal
that we forget where we've come from,
what we've accomplished
and
that our starting place NOW is much closer
than where we started.
Stay the course my man
Because all we have to do is close the gap to
our goals every day
Close the gap EVERY DAY
Its a case of first thing in the morning
asking yourself this question
"What can YOU do today to close the gap?"
And at the end of the day
ask yourself this question
"Did YOU close the gap today?"
If you did regardless of what you pulled off
guess what dude
It was a good fucking day cos you made
progress
