Golf Performance Therapy in Sidcup

Golf Performance Services

So why all the abbreviations TPI, SFMA, FMS?

Every session will involve assessment (SFMA, TPI) treatment and corrective exercise.

Why exercise?

If you train your new found range of motion, it's more likely to STICK which means less time on the treatment table and more time on the golf course.

The goal should be to treat the CAUSE of your pain not just get you OUT of pain

We want to resolve these issues quickly and permanently so you can get back out on the golf course as soon as possible.

These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles.

The last thing we want as golfers is to be told not to play.

What Is TPI Titleist Performance Institute?

TPI’s mission is to educate golfers and industry professionals on the Body-Swing Connection™ through its one of a kind ‘TPI Certified’ educational program.

TPI (The Titleist Performance Institute) discovered how a properly functioning body allows a player to swing a golf club in the most efficient way possible.

The TPI screen is golf specific and it can actually predict what you will do in your golf swing.

Struggling to start the downswing with the lower body?

Keep coming over the top?

This may not be your golf SKILL, it may just be a physical issue that we can test. (pelvic rotation test).

TPI have also analysed how physical limitations in a player’s body can adversely affect the golf swing and potentially lead to injury.

What is SFMA?

The SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) is used in every session to find the cause of any dysfunction.

What is FMS ( Functional Movement Screen)? It is an assessment of movement and has been used as a predictor of injury.

The GolfMob

Golf specific small group training for men only.

The average age of the golf mob is 39 years old.

Turning dad's back into the fellas they used to be prior to marriage and kids.

Built for the busy Dad golfer who wants to hit the golf ball further, be stronger, leaner, more confident, have more flexibility and wants those results quickly but time is his biggest issue.

This is all achieved while not having to sacrifice time away from their family, the golf course and without setting foot into a gym.

Unlike other fitness plans the Golfmob makes golf improvement as the driving factor with the added benefits of fat loss. Golfmob members have unlimited access daily to keep them accountable to me and each other.

The workouts are fun, challenging, have a specific goal in mind and we keep score.

Unbreakable Golfers

Using all of the above with added golf lessons with Head Golf Pro James Skelton to build on your new found range of motion with Pre and Post lessons.

All in one powerful day.

Open to anyone that needs help with their body or their golf game.

Three sessions was all I needed to completely remove my back pain and absolutely nail the golf ball.

I couldn’t believe at my age the distance I gained in 3 weeks.
