I’m big on Targets
Ok, we'll call it goal setting
(By the way did you know that the famous
Harvard goals setting study was
completely made up,
How cool is that)
Not your “in ten years time” stuff
Or “this time next year Rodders”
90 days....
Goals should be 90 day blocks
Why?
Because it’s just enough time to pull
pretty much anything off
And not too long that you procrastinate
and tell the tomorrow story
Think about the following for
weight loss
And
Your Handicap
If you go by the recommended 1 to 2
pound a week weight loss markers
That would be 1 to nearly 2 STONE over
90 days
If you Invested in a fortnightly golf
lesson and weekly practice and play
That would be 6 lessons, 12 practice
sessions and 12 rounds
If you were consistent with the above
What results would you get?
But it only works if there’s a plan
because you can stick to a plan
Your progress is then not based on
emotion and opinion
If you wanna know if you’re serious
about something YOU say you want.
Ask yourself if you have a plan of
action.
If the answer is no
Go back and write a plan out on paper.
Plans in our mind get pushed to the
side.
Cos then We can tell the story of
"I’ll do It tomorrow"
But with 90 days
The clock is ticking
Constantly
And if you keep score or compete against
someone
You will put the time and effort in
There was a PT at Wentworth “Graham” who
used to bet against his clients
He would get them to set targets of what
they wanted and bet against them to
achieve it
This takes big balls
And I imagine he only chose those who
were competitive
However regardless if they won or not
They got quality results
Set targets,
Make it a game,
Compete with someone,
And get your best results in the next 90
days
John “90” Seton
PS Unbreakable Golfers will be more
competitive than any program you’ve been
in
Keep your eyes peeled chief
