The first time I think I heard this was on it in an old Tony Robbins book,

it's this concept that your brain and the way you think about everything, is based around what you think things mean.

So anything that we do in day to day life, our brain interprets that information and then makes meaning from it.

So, even if we strategically think about it, or subconsciously think about it,

we decide what it all means to us and what we think is possible for us.

I think the story from Tony Robbins was of a young baby that's crawling on the sofa and then falls off the sofa and hurts itself.

They might make the meaning subconsciously, that the sofa is the problem and the meaning that the sofa is what scary and the problem that what gets you hurt and not falling.

In your body, your mind everything that you're doing, you're always interpreting this information and you're getting in a position that you're starting to make meaning from everything.

Now you are doing this all the time.

It doesn't mean these things are all negative Some things are positive, you will do something and you will get meaning from that, your mind will make the meaning from it.

And it will be a positive effect on what you're doing moving forward.

But what we want to do is we want to find out if there is a reason or a story that's stopping you from taking action, or worse, stopping you from making the progress that you desire and want. We need to understand the story and the meaning behind that story and how that is stopping you from moving forward. So, take this one for me,

There will be things that I do.

And I'll think "people don't want that. They don't need that" forgetting that I've been doing this stuff now for nearly 10 years.

My mind has to go back to where I was 11 years ago, and what I needed and what I wish I had for me to be able to get better.

And that's what unbreakable golfers is at the end of the day, it is what I wished I had 11 years ago.

What I would have invested time and effort into before getting into personal development, Golf performance, fitness and treatment.

This is what I wished I had an idea and some tools that work.

Here's the work you need to do.

And here is where you need to get.

So, let's get clear. You are a meaning-making machine, everything that you do is backed up by the stories, and what you think those stories mean.

If you struggle to get the results that you are going after or staying committed to targets that you've set, every year, every 90 days and ones that you may have been setting for a very long time.

Then it's because there's a story in your head, that's stopping you from taking that action you need to.
