At the corporate golf day that I went to
on Thursday.
Which was absolute quality by the way
I had to nick my dads van as the Mrs had
the motor.
Now I used to use this when I worked at
Wentworth.
I used to park it an the car park at
Wentworth,
With no issues parking next to Ferrari's
and Porsche's
So in the evening after golf the
organizer was talking to a fella and
mentioned a complaint by the club
And mentioned he had been told by the
club that there should be
No vans or black taxis in the car park.
At this point I apologized
Told it was mine and said it does have a
Wentworth 2015 / 2016 sticker in it.
And that they never had a problem with
it.
The thing is my OLD reaction to this
would have been
"Let me have a word with these cxnts"
But I just let it go
Cos the thing is
it's there patch.
They set the rules,
If they think a non sign written van is
bad for business.
That's there choice
If I had an issue with it
I could never go there again or
Pull rank over the Mrs for the motor.
It was completely under my control with
no excuses.
As it's my choice to make the GolfMob
men only.

I don't discriminate,
I've just built something for fellas
with kids and very limited time to look
after themselves.
By the way this will probably be the
last GolfMob of the year as I plan to
work on a new project.

I'll let you know about that when it's
ready before anyone else fella.
John "white van man" Seton
PS No black taxis though,
What's that about
Just imagine a fella in the pissing down
rain flagging down a taxi in bermondsey
street
The cabbie instead of saying "where to
mate?"
He says "what golf club you a member of
mate?
"Tandridge, can't take you fella. It's
only short walk to the station "
And for the record fella
Fxck uber.
Cheers
