Gott a three-er

Gott a three-er

We have been under a storm cloud for well over a week out here.

The Spanish call it a gota fria ( a bad-ass storm that makes you realize how insignificant you are, and also sounds like someone asking for 3 hundred quid) and It has been tearing up Alicante, Valencia, and Murcia to name a few.

In April, a local town to us, Javea, took a hammering, plenty of damage and apparently that wasn’t even a gota fria.

So, with sandbanks being built on the beach, schools, and bars closed, it's been a waiting game of damage and fear.

However, somehow it has missed us.

Either side of us there is carnage, damage, and danger but somehow Moraira, Javea, and Benitatxell have just had bad weather.

If it wasn’t for whats-app and anti-social media you wouldn’t even know that some serious sh*t had gone down

You would be completely unaware, of the dangers that are around you.
safely in a bubble with no idea of what could go wrong.

However, most people have no idea what's happening in other areas of their life including their health.

Take your body, if it’s slightly off, or you just keep getting colds or you're constantly waking up tired, or tight or angry that you're feeling older then you should, but you think that things are not so bad, your...

Just a bit “under the weather” but you have no idea of the storm that’s brewing, the destruction that’s going on and because you don’t get to see it, you are completely unaware of the effects your current lifestyle is having on your body, your health, and your future.

Things might be ok, you're "under the weather" feeling may just pass but it also could be a wake-up call to get yourself prepared for the storm that’s around the corner.

Consistency breeds habits and habits breed improvement.

If you have simple daily habits, you will inevitably improve.

We should still be able to get better as we get older.

If you want to make your body better with the added bonus of more distance in your golf swing (and that bonus will keep you on track and stop you giving up like everyone else) and want to do it without leaving the house, then take a look at the GolfMob online.

Let’s be clear.

Any man can get serious results with this program but it requires “hard work”

If you were born before the Millennium but act like a self-entitled Millennial then this program is not for you.

It’s built for men born in the ’70s and ’80s and knows that results require hard work and effort.

There could be a big storm not too far away and you can ignore it or be prepared for it

Golf Lessons From Being Crushed.

Golf Lessons From Being Crushed.

The biggest lessons you will ever learn will come when you are right on the edge of failure and close to quitting.

Take Tuesday night as an example, whilst rolling in Jiu-jitsu with a guy who is bigger then me, stronger then me and more powerful then me, I was in a position where it felt like I was being crushed.

The idea is to get onto your side, which I did and should have been in a good position.

But it still felt like getting crushed.

I couldn't breath, as it felt like all his weight was focused only on crushing my chest and I couldn't move.

For what felt like ages but was probably only a few seconds, I couldn't breath, and tapped out.

Asking my professor what happened, his answer was

"I was surprised you tapped then"

So it was just panic.

years ago I would probably have beat myself up for it , being a coward, weak, whatever....

But there is always lessons to be learnt.

So when it got to Thursday after training I wanted to get into the same position and just wait it out.

This time no problem, dont get me wrong it wasn't nice, and was extremely uncomfortable but two things were different.

1) Had an expert show me how to survive and correct it,

2) Understand that true growth is right on the edge of failure.

You see true learning comes when things are tough to do and you need to endure it to learn the movment.

The reason why most golfers suffer with fitness is they think they need to be in the gym doing heavy squats,

Because thats what Rory Mcilroy is doing, or running for hours per day because everyone's reading "Cant Hurt Me" (great book by the way).

But all golfers need to do is exercise a simple movement right on the edge of failure, If its too difficult they will compensate and lose the point of the exercise.

If its too easy they are wasting their time and not getting better.

If the body cant breath comfortably in a certain position then it doesn't truly OWN that position and will stop moving into that position…

If you dont move it you lose it.

So you can pretend that you can make a good turn when you swing the club, but if you cant get into that position comfortably you will have to compensate something.

And that effects your balance, timing and of course confidence.

Be right on the edge of failure and get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

To see the exact areas of your body that are causing you to compensate in your golf swing then,

Cavemen Golfers

Cavemen Golfers

Men are simple creatures.

We were simple when we lived in caves, and we are simple now but have been tricked into thinking we should care about things that are soaked in oestrogen.

But really only need a few things to be happy and not be angry or wake up tired all the time.

1) Eat Food,

If you are trying to eat Better, Healthier, Cleaner, dont know how or what to eat or what diet you are being distracted by.

A man needs to ENJOY his food.

Otherwise we won't stick to it, will want to eat as much rubbish as possible.

With fellas, it's mainly what they're NOT eating thats the problem. (Think about that for a second and you realise its about adding nutrients and not taking away what you enjoy)

Have a BBQ, be a cave man and eat all the meat you want and add in the other food your body needs.

Not only does it taste awesome, but with a nice bit of ribeye you can pretend you are a lion.

Or is that just me.

I may have just shared too much…. on to…

2) Do something physical as often as you can like Bjj, run, box or Play Golf

Did you know that cave men used to regularly play golf using a tree branch and a Titleist Pro V 1 million BC

3) Use the toilet in peace

Yep, this simple daily act was designed NOT to have the cave kids banging on the door, or decide they need your help for the 5 minutes they are unsupervised.

With these 3 things firmly in place a man can be blissfully happy safe in the knowledge that whatever happened today, be it being too tired or hot at least….

Tomorrow will bring some exercise(maybe 18 holes), some egg and bacon and of course 5 minutes on the khazi in peace.

The GolfMob is a golf specific, Golf Fitness plan where golfers can Gain yards and lose inches.

It was built for Men who eat meat and play golf.

It's one of 3 parts to Golf Performance but the one where you use your quest to get better at the game with the bonus of losing weight and it will be coming to this sun drenched area soon.

New Driver, Old Driver, Time Driver.

New Driver, Old Driver, Time Driver.

I read a great story on a golf forum recently...

It was about a golfer who buys a new driver every year,

He will generally test out a few from all the big brands...

And then choose the one he hits the furthest.

Then this guy decides to improve his game.

What he does next is search youtube, for better ways to hit the ball further,

The best way to hit a driver,

Swing changes,

New gadgets,

Golf exercises,

Weight training.

He then said that what happens is he notices he's not hitting it as far as he was (or thought he was)

And then ends up going back to his old driver.

The golf pro in the forum asked if he had, had a lesson with the new driver and the guy said

"I didn't want to waste money on a lesson until I can hit it (the new driver) a bit better"

Waste money on a lesson????????

This is the crazy part.....

If you invest in yourself it can never be a waste of money. By having a lesson he would have got expert knowledge from a guy trained and educated in getting golfers results.

He can always sell the driver to someone else.

But what he cant get back is the time spent:

Searching videos on youtube, trying stuff out (not knowing if he's implementing the way he should) reading golf magazines with conflicting information, and actually tying himself in knots.

You can do this too if you want, trade money for time (the most important commodity) and not spend a penny on expert knowledge and coaching.

Wait a minute...

What???

You still dont want to put so much pain staking time wasting, effort and work into getting better?

Even though you only MIGHT get a result.

Okay, fine.

Then let "the shaved ape of Golf Performance" give you another option:

Fix your body

No wasted time required.

Plus, you can do it in 4 easy steps:

1) Find out which part of your body is the biggest restriction to your golf game.

2) Use specific techniques to target those areas

3) Strengthen the same areas with corrective exercise

4) Move on to the next area, rinse and repeat.

If you dont fancy doing that on your own....

Ask a shaved ape for help.

Good Luck....

Good Trolling

Some times the odd trolling is good,

I’m not talking about the 20 something hiding in his bedroom, throwing insults at someone for no reason (that just comes from insecurity)

I’m talking about trolling the establishment with backed up reasons of why things are wrong.

Take the golf industry, every new club that comes out is better than the last one,

Advances in technology, etc

And this stuff is all tested on machines so they can get reliable data.

But, you have to be FIT for that club to get the benefits touted in it.

But if you invested that £300 in lessons (and not random lessons when you playing shxt, do you think the stars of the World Cup will only have coaching when things ain’t going well)

And had those lessons regularly regardless of how you were playing, you’d be better off (unless of course you current clubs are dog shxt)

But that’s not what everyone’s doing so it’s a case of follow the follower.

Now take my side of the industry,

Every photo about golf fitness that you will see on sky, about one of the stars will show the golfer under a heavy squat or bench press, however….

This would scare the score card off of 95% of the golfers out there...

Where a simple plan of body weight stuff would change the average golfers results dramatically.

And proficient "rolling" changes everyone’s results
